What is copy writing? Copy-writing Explained Here:

Copy-writing is the art and science of writing persuasive text that gets people to take action

1- Headline

The very first thing your audience will read… It’s super important.

2- Sub Headline

This sentence will lead them into the opener and determine if they keep reading.

3- Opening

This needs to hook them in with a story, making themselves into their seats waiting to see what else you will say.

4- Pain points

Walk your audience through the suffering they are currently experiencing, this helps identify the problem they’re having.

5- Aha moment

The plot twist, where you had an epiphany about a solution.

6- Possible solution

Introducing your product/service and how it’s helped others.

7- Benefits

Write about your products features, however explain them in benefits. This means how it will improve their lives and solve their problems.

8- Social Proof

This is where you include testimonials, reviews, case studies and any other proof you can use to show them it works (never write copy without social proof. Use your own testimony if that’s all you’ve got)

9- Your pitch

Offer your product/service is the best option and best solution to their problems.

10- Guarantee

Make them feel like this is a risk-free investment. Reassure them that they have nothing to lose and remove their resistance to taking action.

11- Scarcity

Make them feel like they could miss out or get left behind if they don’t take action right away.

12- Call to action

Now that your prospect is interested, you need to tell them exactly what to do to buy your product/service… Or how to take the next step in your sales funnel.

Here are the major elements of successful copy writing, explained as if to a beginner:

  1. Understand your target audience. Who are you writing for? What are their needs and pain points? What motivates them to buy? The more you know about your audience, the better you can tailor your copy to their interests and concerns.
  2. Craft a strong headline. The headline is the first thing people will see, so it needs to be attention-grabbing and informative. It should also make a promise that the rest of your copy will deliver on.
  3. Communicate the benefits. What are the benefits of your product or service? How will it make your reader’s life better? Be specific and use strong language to convey the value of what you’re offering.
  4. Create a sense of urgency. Tell your readers why they need to act now. Use words like “limited time offer,” “act now,” and “don’t miss out.”
  5. Use clear and concise language. Your copy should be easy to read and understand. Avoid jargon and technical terms. Get to the point quickly and make it easy for your reader to take action.
  6. Use strong calls to action. Tell your readers what you want them to do. Do you want them to buy your product? Sign up for your email list? Visit your website? Make it clear and easy for them to take the next step.
  7. Proofread your copy carefully. Typos and grammatical errors will make your copy look unprofessional and untrustworthy. Take the time to proofread your copy carefully before you hit publish.

These are just some of the major elements of successful copywriting. There are many other factors that can contribute to the success of a piece of copy, but these are a good starting point for beginners.

Here are some additional tips for successful copywriting:

  • Be persuasive. Your goal is to convince the reader to take action, so your copy should be persuasive and engaging.
  • Be original. Don’t just copy what everyone else is doing. Be creative and find new ways to connect with your audience.
  • Be consistent. Your copy should be consistent with your brand and messaging. This will help build trust and credibility with your audience.
  • Be measurable. Track the results of your copywriting campaigns so you can see what’s working and what’s not. This will help you improve your copy over time.

Copywriting is a complex skill, but it’s one that can be learned with practice. By following these tips, you can start writing copy that is persuasive, engaging, and effective.
